*Review* JoJo’s Chocolate Bark

If you already know me, you know I have a bit of an addiction to entering sweepstakes and contests.  That’s how I was introduced to this amazing product!  Don’t let the stigma of sweepers fool you, we’re not out to just win free stuff!  More often than not, we find something we really love and end up buying it again and again.  This particular product will likely be one of those products for me!

So My Amazon Account Was Closed…

It was only for a little more than a week due to a glitch in the system, or a hack, or to be completely honest I’m not sure.  I don’t like it, whatever it is, and starting my own site for my reviews instead of posting them on Amazon seems like the best option.

What makes me angry the most is I received the above email more than a week after my account was shut down, and when I called them to ask them why my account was closed they said that I had closed it.  That was complete nonsense, why would I close my account down when I had orders still processing and Amazon Gift Cards still attached to my account?  Complete. Nonsense.  Notice below their reinstatement to my account, a completely different reasoning as to why they previously closed my account.

Covering their butts it seems.  Although there was no unusual activity to any items I purchased, they were all purchased by me!  They haven’t given any compensation for anything in regarding to this matter either, which is very disconcerting.  I paid for a full month of Amazon Prime services, and had to go over a week without being able to even log into my account, and they think it’s okay.  There are hundreds of angry people about this, some of which even had fraudulent activity on their credit cards due to this matter.  It just makes me very upset that a company of this size can just pretend that nothing ever happened, and so many people are left in the dark and expected to ignore the fact that their private information was at risk.  What are your thoughts on this?

 Hi, my name is Jennifer…

I’m a proud mother of two beautiful children, Connor and Elena.  I’m also the mother of a beautiful fur-baby named Bear (his real name is Barrett but I’ve called him Little Bear since he’s come home, that it’s just stuck).  I’ve been with my teenage sweetheart for sixteen years now, and I’m pretty sure I drive him as crazy as he drives me!

Why am I creating this blog?

I decided I wanted a place for my reviews and my thoughts.  I also wanted to include my children in this, because my son is always talking about his favorite YouTube channels, and how he wants to do something like this, and what better way to do it than together!  He’s 6-years old currently, will be 7 very shortly and has some social anxieties.  He has a lot of opinions about things though, and I’d love for him to be able to express them in his own way, so I thought this might be a good outlet for that.

What am I hoping to accomplish?

Well honestly it’s just the beginning, so I’m hoping to have some fun, and enjoy myself.  I’ve run a book review blog in the past, before having any children and I know it can be a lot of work.  I don’t intend on reviewing any books here, other than children’s books with my kids because of how time consuming that really is.  At first I plan to just continue reviewing products that I’ve been purchasing on my own, and see where that road takes us.

What are my hobbies outside of blogging?

I’m a stay at home mom, so I like to keep myself busy.  Other than watching cartoons and doing crafts with my 4-year old daughter Elena during the day, I enjoy entering sweepstakes & contests (yes, I’ve won quite a few!), couponing (imagine extreme couponer, yep that’s me!), collecting movies, and pretty much anything that involves spending time with my children.  You may see some posts about some of my hobbies here in the future between my reviews.  I may even throw in a contest or two of my own because I love to give back!
